HISTORY:
Mortlach, founded in 1823, is Dufftown’s first legal distillery. Known as “The Beast of Dufftown,” Mortlach is famous for its powerful style created by the unique 2.81 distillation process. The 16-year-old pays homage to a traditional sherry cask style once highly prized by whisky lovers.

BLEND & AGING:
Matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned casks, giving it richness, depth, and layers of fruit and spice.

AROMA (NOSE):
Rich and complex, with dried fruits, dark cherries, plums, chocolate, and hints of spice.

TASTE (PALATE):
Full-bodied and smooth, showcasing sherry sweetness, dark fruits, roasted coffee, and Mortlach’s signature meaty richness.

FINISH:
Long, warming, and elegant with lingering fruitcake, oak, and spice.
