HISTORY:
Founded in 1823, Mortlach is the first legal distillery in Dufftown, Speyside. Known as “The Beast of Dufftown,” Mortlach is celebrated for its rich, meaty style, achieved through a unique 2.81 distillation process.

BLEND & AGING:
Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, creating a balance of sweetness, spice, and depth.

AROMA (NOSE):
Fruity with dark berries, dried fruits, toffee, and hints of roasted nuts.

TASTE (PALATE):
Bold and rich, with flavors of dark chocolate, spice, stewed fruits, and a savory “meaty” undertone.

FINISH:
Long, warming, and complex, with lingering spice and oak.
