HISTORY:
Jameson, founded in 1780 in Dublin, is Ireland’s most famous whiskey brand. Black Barrel, introduced in 2011, pays tribute to the distillery’s coopers who gave casks extra char for richer flavors.

BLEND & AGING:
A blend of small-batch grain and pot still whiskeys, matured in a combination of double-charred bourbon barrels and sherry casks.

AROMA (NOSE):
Rich notes of butterscotch, fudge, toffee, along with spicy vanilla and toasted wood.

TASTE (PALATE):
Full-bodied and smooth, with flavors of caramel, dried fruit, toasted oak, and sweet spice.

FINISH:
Lingering, warm, with notes of charred wood and sweet vanilla.
