HISTORY:
Launched in 1993, Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old was crafted by Malt Master David Stewart MBE. It pioneered the “double cask maturation” method, making it one of Balvenie’s most iconic expressions.

BLEND & AGING:
Matured for at least 12 years in traditional whisky oak casks before being transferred to European oak sherry casks for additional aging, giving it depth and complexity.

AROMA (NOSE):
Sweet fruit, Oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla.

TASTE (PALATE):
Smooth and mellow, with flavors of dried fruit, spice, and a touch of nutty sweetness.

FINISH:
Long, warm, and gently spicy.
