Description

HISTORY:
Named after the Loch Uigeadail, the lake that supplies Ardbeg’s water, this expression was launched in 2003. It combines Ardbeg’s peaty style with the richness of ex-sherry casks, making it one of the most celebrated whiskies in their range.

BLEND & AGING:
Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, non-chill filtered, bottled at cask strength (54.2% ABV).

AROMA (NOSE):
Intense peat smoke balanced by sweet sherry notes, raisins, Christmas cake, honey, and a touch of leather.

TASTE (PALATE):
Full-bodied and complex, combining smoky peat, dried fruits, toffee, espresso, and warming spices.

FINISH:
Long, smoky, and sweet with lingering spice and sherry richness.
