Description

HISTORY:
The Escudero family winery has long history (mid-19th century); originally made still wines, later began producing Cava in Rioja; Benito Escudero is one of the earlier producers in Rioja to make traditional method sparkling wine.

BLEND & AGING:
Hand-harvested Viura grapes; gentle pressing to obtain free-run juice; first fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperature (~14°C); second fermentation in bottle (traditional method / Champagne style) in spring; aged in bottle sur lie for at least 36 months (some info says 48 months) to build complexity.

AROMA (NOSE):
Nose of green apple, lemon/yellow citrus tones; subtle yeast/lees / bread crust influence from bottle aging; elegant and fine aromas

TASTE (PALATE):
Fresh on entry; acidity gentle yet lively; bubbles well integrated; light body yet good structure

FINISH:
Clean, persistent finish; fruit and acidity linger; fine bubbles still perceptible toward the end

FLAVOR:
Fruit-forward with prominent apple character; fresh acidity; fine bubbles; elegant and restrained fruit flavor overall

FOOD PAIRING:
Cold or hot starters; seafood like oysters or fish; caviar; fresh or aged cheese; lighter-flavored dishes; also works well as an aperitif

历史:
Escudero 家族酒庄历史悠久（十九世纪中叶起家），早年只做静态酒，后来开始生产 Rioja 地区的 Cava 起泡酒；Benito Escudero 品牌也被认为是里奥哈地区较早在传统瓶内发酵起泡酒类型中的生产者之一。

调配与陈酿:
手工采摘 Viura 葡萄；轻柔压榨取头汁 (free-run juice)；第一次发酵于不锈钢罐中低温 (约 14°C)；春季瓶内进行第二次发酵（传统法 / Champenoise 方法）；瓶内陈年至少 36 个月（部分资料亦指至少 48 个月）sur lie（与酒泥接触）以增加复杂度。

香气:
苹果香、绿色柠檬调或柠檬黄调；带有瓶内熟成（酵母／面包皮微妙味道）；气味优雅细致

口感:
入口清爽；酸度柔和但有活力；气泡与酒体整合良好；酒体轻盈但结构感佳

余韵:
余味干净持久；果香与酸度余留；气泡细腻在尾端仍能感觉到
