First produced in 2003, created to offer the classic Penfolds Shiraz-Cabernet style at an accessible price.

BLEND & AGING:
Matured for around 12 months in American & French oak, small portion new.

AROMA (NOSE):
Blackberry, cherry, plum, chocolate, vanilla and oak notes

TASTE (PALATE):
Medium to full-bodied, smooth and rounded with firm structure.

FINISH:
Lingering finish with fruit and oak balance.

FLAVOR:
Rich fruit flavour, well balanced, soft tannins, hints of spice and sweetness.

FOOD PAIRING:
Pairs well with red meats, grilled dishes, stews, and aged cheeses.
