History
Lagavulin was established in 1816 on the Isle of Islay, Scotland, renowned for its peated whiskies. The 16 Year Old is its flagship expression and a benchmark for smoky Scotch.

Production & Maturation
Distilled in traditional copper pot stills using heavily peated malted barley, then matured in oak casks for at least 16 years, resulting in deep complexity.

Aroma
Intense smoke and peat aromas, layered with sea salt, iodine, dried fruits, and subtle sweetness.

Palate
Full-bodied and powerful, with bold smoky flavors balanced by malt sweetness, spice, and oak notes.

Finish
