Description

History:
A d’Aussières Red comes from Domaine d’Aussières in the Corbières region of southern France, owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). With origins dating back to Roman times, the estate combines tradition and modern winemaking to produce elegant yet powerful southern French wines.

Production & Blending:
A blend of classic southern French grape varieties, typically including Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre. Fermented in stainless steel with partial oak aging to balance fruit expression and structure.

Aroma:
Aromas of ripe red and dark fruits such as blackberry and raspberry, layered with hints of spice, herbs, and a touch of smokiness.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied with a smooth texture, concentrated fruit flavors, fine tannins, and a warm, structured southern French profile.
